Number of players: 2+
In this game, players compete to be the first one to complete a challenge. Start by choosing who goes first (click here for a list of ways to pick who goes first). The first player then decides on a challenge and announces it to the other player(s). All players should then stand in a row. When all players are in place, they can count down from three and then race to complete the challenge. The first player to achieve the goal gets to choose the next challenge.
Play can continue for a certain number of challenges (e.g. 10 challenges) or for a set time limit (you can set a timer at the start of the game).
Example challenges:
- Put away 5 things, 10 things, 20 things, etc – The player choosing the challenge can pick any number they want, within reason.
- Put away 10 red items – The items don’t need to be completely red, they just need to have at least some red color. Players can choose any number and any color.
- Put away 5 things that are soft
- Put away 10 blocks
- Make your bed
- Put away 5 books
- Put away 3 things that belong in another room
- Etc. Be creative!
