The Dice Cleaning Game

The Dice Cleaning Game

Number of players: 2+

Materials needed:

  • A pair of 6 sided dice

How to:

  • Choose who goes first (click here for ways to pick who goes first).

Take turns rolling the dice:

  • If a 3, 4, 5 or 6 is rolled: pick up that number of items
  • If an 8 is rolled: sweep or vacuum one floor
  • If a 9 is rolled: dust one piece of furniture
  • If a 10 is rolled: clean a sink, a window or a mirror
  • If an 11 is rolled: clean something in the kitchen (microwave, stove, refrigerator, counter, etc)
  • When doubles are rolled: Roll again and double that number. This is the number of items to be picked up.
  • Lucky 7s! If a 7 is rolled: Free time! Take a 10 minute break.

Players earn points equal to the number they rolled (for example, if a player rolls a 6 they earn 6 points). If a player rolls doubles, they get points equal to the doubles plus the points equal to their second role (for example, if a player rolls two 4’s and then a 5, they earn a total of 4 + 4 + 5 = 13 points). The first player to reach 60 points is the winner!
