How to:
Each player gathers 10 things that need to be put away, puts their collection of mess in a cardboard box (or any large container – bag, bin, etc) and passes their box to another player. The players then stand in a large circle and open their boxes. Each player takes turns pulling an item out of their box and pretending that item is something else. For example, if a player pulls a sock out of their box, they might use it as a long nose, as a grocery bag (hold up the sock and say, “How do you like my grocery bag? I’m on a diet.”), as a tail, as a purse, etc. When all of the items have been used as a new prop, the players put their items away and a new round can start.
Variations:
- If you have enough players, you can split into teams of two.
